Cheryl – Practice Administrator

CherylHello, my name is Cheryl. As the Practice Administrator for Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry since September 2016, I love to guide patients to achieve total dental health, which helps lead to overall health. I was born and raised in Chester County, PA and enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren. I started in the dental field in 1995 and have enjoyed it very much. Meeting new people has always been one of the fun aspects of this work. Please ask for me at your dental visit so I can have the pleasure of meeting you!

Dana – Patient Advocate

DanaMy name is Dana and I have worked for Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry since 2010. I enjoy being a patient advocate because it gives me the opportunity to interact with all the patients who walk through our doors. In my free time, I also enjoy gardening, canning, and bicycling. In 1993, I moved to this area from Western Pennsylvania to raise my family. On weekends you can find my husband and me spending time with our children and grandchildren.

Kathy – Patient Advocate

Kathy - Patient AdvocateHi! I’m Kathy. After a recent move to Chester County, I joined the team at Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry in May 2017. I am enjoying getting to meet all of the wonderful patients and helping with their dental treatment. I have been working in the dental field since the year 2000. When I am not at work, I enjoy gardening, fishing, camping and spending time with my family.

Janelle – Patient Advocate

Janelle, Patient Advocate with Hughes DentistryHi! My name is Janelle. I joined the Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry team in July 2020. I have been in dentistry since 2012, after graduating from Contemporary Health Career Institute (CHCI). Outside of work, you can find me at the beach, on the river, or watching the Philadelphia Flyers. I also love spending time with my family. I look forward to meeting you during your next visit.

Beth – Patient Advocate

Beth - Patient AdvocateMy name is Beth. After working for Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry since 1997, my family relocated out of state for four years. I was fortunate enough to rejoin the practice in 2020, when we returned to Pennsylvania. I received my Associate of Science degree from Harcum College in EFDA. My knowledge from dental assisting has helped me transition to the administrative part of the office. I love working with our patients and helping them achieve their dental goals. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family/friends and cheering for our Philadelphia Eagles!!!

Joanne – Patient Advocate

Joanne - Patient AdvocateMy name is Joanne. I joined the Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry Team in 2000. In 2020 I decided to retire, but in November 2021 I returned to work Fridays. It has been so nice being back with my "work family" and seeing so many old faces is so exciting. I am also enjoying meeting and working with all the new patients. A lot has changed in the dental world over the last twenty years but the care, concern and love that Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry has for their patients has not! In my free time, my husband, Bill and I visit as much as we can with our ten grandchildren and our long-time friends. I enjoy reading and walking every day.

Kelly – Dental Assistant

I’m Kelly and I have been a dental assistant for Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry since 1988. I enjoy working in the lab as well as interacting with our patients. I have been very fortunate to be able to work with such a friendly, dedicated staff. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have a son and a daughter. I have always enjoyed meeting new patients and am very excited to meet you!

Linette – Dental Assistant

Linette - Dental AssistantMy name is Linette. In 1986, I was a patient at Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry, before being given the opportunity to become an assistant here in 1993. It is my daily goal to create a fun, relaxing environment for our patients during their visits. It is a privilege to get to know them during their appointments with us. I am thankful to come to my job every day and be a part of this team. I especially enjoy making my co-workers laugh throughout the week. My husband and I have been blessed with three children and two grandsons. I treasure our time together making memories.

Jessica – Dental Assistant

Jessica - Dental AssistantHi, my name is Jessica. I joined the Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry team in 2019 while completing my bachelor's degree at Stevenson University. I graduated in 2022 with a BA in Biology. My passion for dentistry has grown through the years, and I am making final preparations to proceed with furthering my dental career as a future dentist. I look forward to making all our current and new patient's dental experience one of the best. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at Raystown Lake.

Allison – EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant)

Hello, my name is Allison. Since September 2017, I have been a dental assistant for Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry. I graduated from Lancaster County Career and Technical Center's Dental Assisting program in May 2013. I furthered my education at Harcum College and obtained my EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) license in March 2016. Helping make our patient visits comfortable and pleasant is something I enjoy. My free time is spent with family and friends, walking my dog Luna, gardening, fishing and puzzling. I can’t wait to meet you on your next visit!

Cookie – EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant)

Cookie - EFDAMy name is Cookie, and I joined Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry in January 2021. I have worked with some H&H team members in the past and was so excited to work with them again! Since 1994, I have been a dental assistant/EFDA. I enjoy the relationships and trust I build with each patient. When you come to our practice, I always want your visit to be an enjoyable one. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my four Samoyeds. I show my Samoyeds at professional dog shows on the weekends. I also have a passion for floral arranging.

Samantha – EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant)

Samantha - EFDAHi! My name is Samantha (you may call me Sam). I joined Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry in July 2022. Since 2011 I have been in the dental field. I became an EFDA in 2017 after graduating from Harcum College. In my free time, I am busy chasing after my toddler and English bulldog. I love running & spending time with family and friends. Colleen – Registered Dental Hygienist

Hello, my name is Colleen. I enjoy spending time with family, doing crafts, reading, traveling, walking, and swimming. Since 1988, I have had the pleasure and privilege to share in the lives of my patients. We have celebrated many of life’s milestones together, sharing joys and tears of sadness. I am most proud of the way we respect our patients and care for their overall health.

Donna – Registered Dental Hygienist

Hello, I am Donna. I love spending time with family and friends. We enjoy boating at Raystown Lake and cheering on our EAGLES! I joined the team at Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry in 1999. My favorite part of my job is our great patients! My co-workers and our beautiful environment are bonuses. I look forward to continuing to help our patients have beautiful smiles.

Sara – Registered Dental Hygienist

Hi, I am Sara. It is a great pleasure to be a part of such a kind and compassionate dental team here at Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry. Since 2013, I have enjoyed meeting long-time patients and welcoming new patients to the practice. My top priority during each visit is to make every patient feel comfortable and provide thorough and gentle care. I graduated from West Virginia University in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene and have practiced in the Chester County area. I am a busy mom of four children and help my husband out in his restaurant when I can.

Sonya – Registered Dental Hygienist

My name is Sonya and I had the privilege of joining this practice in 2018. I have been working as a hygienist ever since I graduated from the dental hygiene program at Northampton Community College in 2012. Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry allows me to prioritize the two things I find most rewarding about this job: developing personal relationships with my patients and helping my patients to achieve optimal oral health. When I am not working, I am spending time with my husband, Josiah, our families, and my church family at Conestoga Mennonite Church.

Lisa – Registered Dental Hygienist

Hello, my name is Lisa. I have been a dental hygienist since 2014, graduating from Harcum College. In September 2020, I had the privilege of joining Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry. With a passion for oral health and wellness, I love to learn and research products. Each individual patient I care about as if they are family. I am a busy mom of two children and love hiking with my husband.

Janelle – Registered Dental Hygienist

Hello, my name is Janelle. I joined the Hughes & Hughes Family Dentistry team in April of 2022 and quickly felt I was part of the family. While providing amazing care, I enjoy getting to know each patient and seeing them leave with a smile. After earning my bachelor's degree from West Chester University, I went to Harcum College for Dental Hygiene. I graduated in 2012 and have been a dental hygienist ever since. When I am not asking patients if they floss, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I go golfing every chance we get. I look forward to meeting you at your next dental cleaning!

Lea – Dental Hygienist

Lea - Dental HygenistMy name is Lea, and I had the privilege of joining the Hughes and Hughes Family Dentistry team in July of 2022. I have been a dental hygienist since 2009, graduating from Northampton Community College. My favorite part about dentistry is developing relationships with my patients and helping them to improve their oral health. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our daughter. We love boating, riding ATVs, and enjoying the outdoors on Chesapeake Bay's Eastern Shore.
