An Important Message Regarding COVID-19

To our dental family and community,

Your safety and well-being have always been our top priority, and due to the recent restrictions placed on Chester County businesses by Governor Wolf, and the public measures being taken to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to suspend all elective dental treatment at this time. As healthcare providers, it is our duty to treat those truly in need, so we will remain open during limited hours in order to treat emergencies and perform critical procedures. If you have a dental related concern, please call our office and a member of our staff or one of the doctors will help to determine the severity of the situation, and whether or not you need to be seen in our office. All other planned hygiene visits, exams, consultations, and routine procedures will be rescheduled at a later date. Our staff will work efficiently to contact you and facilitate the rescheduling process. These are unprecedented and uncertain times, so we plan on rescheduling your appointments on a week-to-week basis.

For those of you that may need to be seen in the office for treatment in the coming days, rest assured that we are taking extensive measures to ensure your safety and the safety of our staff. Please arrive on time as to minimize time spent in the reception area, and if you happen to arrive early, please wait in your car until the time of your appointment. Upon entry, you will be asked to answer a brief questionnaire and have your temperature taken prior to being admitted into our treatment rooms. We ask that if you feel ill at all, or are showing signs of fever or respiratory distress, please call us to reschedule your appointment, and contact your healthcare provider right away.

We will resume normal business operations as soon as possible; however, we feel strongly that we must play our part in limiting the spread of COVID-19 and protecting our patients and our community.

Thank you for your understanding, and don’t hesitate to call with any questions or concerns. Stay safe, stay healthy, and we will see you all again soon.

Best wishes,

Michael E Hughes DMD, MS
