Children’s Dental Health Month Contest WINNERS!

THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our contest to celebrate Children’s Dental Health Month!

Children's Dental Health Month

The children who entered by submitting their answers to the following question won a Target gift card.

What is the one thing you learned from our educational dental video about visiting the dentist and caring for your teeth?

Here’s what the children said:

Brush your teeth twice a day.

Brushing your teeth will remove germs and keep your mouth fresh.

February is children’s dental health month and the small mirror the dentists have help them to look at the back of the teeth clearly.

Broccoli and water are good for your teeth. Candy and chips are bad for your teeth.

Always keep your teeth clean.

Flossing helps protect teeth from cavities.

Broccoli, carrots, strawberries and milk are good for teeth.

If you don’t brush your teeth you will get cavities and wholes in your teeth.

Brush your teeth 2 times a day.

I learned about brushing teeth. Brushing all of the teeth for two minutes. I brush at night and at day.

An explorer is used to check your teeth for cavities.

Brushing your teeth is good.

Fluoride is like vitamins for your teeth.

I learned how to brush my teeth front to back!

I learned that there was a happy tooth and bad tooth and there are good foods for our teeth and bad foods. A good food is raspberries. A bad food is lollipops and cheez balls.

Juice boxes chips and candy are bad for my teeth.

I learned to brush my teeth 2 times a day. I also learned from the video that a good thing to eat is strawberries. A bad thing to eat is chippies. Great video! I enjoyed having the dentist come to my preschool today.

A lot of candy is not good for your teeth and dinosaurs need to brush their teeth also.

The contest is over, but you can still have some fun watching our educational video with your child about what happens at the dentist and what you can do to care for your teeth at home.

It is our privilege to care for your and your family’s dental health!
